Until this week, it had been some time since I enjoyed a dine-in meal. A year ago Covid appeared on the scene and my menu selections were limited to my kitchen pantry or curbside pickup. Exposure to Covid aerosols in enclosed spaces was a reality and a risk I wasn't willing to take.

Two weeks since my last Covid vaccination and it’s a new day. My Elite Yelp Reviews are back on track. Yes, staff wear masks hiding their smiles, but you can see it in their eyes. They’re glad to see us and I’m glad to be back. The food has a new flavor. This year’s Blue Plate Specials include great taste seasoned with jobs, smiles and hope. Its a new beginning. Welcome 2021.
